Lilian Rocío Simbaqueba Gutiérrez is a businesswoman, entrepreneur, and investor, and the founder of LiSim, a consulting firm specializing in data analytics and credit risk, especially for financial inclusion in Latin America, but with projects carried out in Eastern Europe, Asia, and Africa. Endeavor Entrepreneur: Since 2008, she has been part of the Endeavor Entrepreneur Network, an organization that supports high-impact entrepreneurs. Her investment has been in Fintech companies, with a strong interest in gender equity.
Education and training
Systems engineering: She graduated as a systems engineer in Konstanz, Germany, where she also worked for the information services company Experian.
MBA: She completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá.
Marketing: She completed a specialization in marketing at the University of Berkeley.
Columbia Programs: She participated in the Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness in Latin America (ECLA) program at Columbia Business School in New York.
Involvement and causes
Support for the woman entrepreneur: Simbaqueba is a firm advocate for female entrepreneurship, encouraging other women to start their own businesses and to balance professional and personal life.
TEDx Speaker: She has been a speaker at events such as TEDxBogotaMujeres, where she has shared her perspective on balance in life and entrepreneurship.
Currently fulfilling the dream of doing a doctorate in Theology.
