    Carmelite priest, professor and researcher linked to the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 2011 and is currently assistant professor of the Department of Theology. He specializes in Systematic Theology and Spirituality. His research interests focus on spirituality, theological method, Lonergan Studies, Theological Anthropology, Eclesial Ministry, Carmelite spirituality, and social justice, and is an expert on St. Teresa of Avila. He is founder and current professor of the Carmelite Institute of Spirituality in Bogota and director of the magazine Vida espiritual, which encourages the study and promotion of Spirituality. He is also a founder and current board member of the EntreSeres Foundation, which promotes economic development in vulnerable areas of Cartagena, Colombia, through technical assistance and microcredit loans.
