Dr. Juan C Ospina is Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery at Pontifical Xaverian University from 2005.
Active teaching duties for undergraduate and postgraduate students inthe field of Pediatric Otolaryngology. Focused on pediatric airway and pediatric hearing loss.
He was Head of the posgraduate program of Otolaryngology from 2008 to 2016. Has been chair for the Institutional Review Board and Surgical Sciences Research and ethics committee. (both Pontifical Xaverian Uiversity and San Ignacio University Hospital in Bogotá, Colombia.
Has been invited guest in several meetings and courses in Colombia and the Americas. Has published several peer reviewed papers and book chapters. He is associate editor for the Otolaryngology Colombian Association's official journal.
Currently, is international member of ASPO, SENTAC, IAPO and Director of the Pediatric Otolaryngology Chapter of ACORL (Colombian Association of Otolaryngology) since 2008.
