Personal profile
José Vicente Vergara Hoyos has been associated with the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 1996 and is currently an assistant professor at the Center for Theological Formation of the Faculty of Theology. He is dedicated to teaching in the field of theology and nature, with a special focus on the topics of science, Christian faith, morality and the care of the common home. He has conducted several research projects and is leader of the research group “Theology and the Contemporary World”. Over the years, he has published a considerable number of books, book chapters and articles in indexed journals.
