    José Fernando Castrillón Restrepo works in Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 2001. He is currently associate professor, Faculty of Theology. He teaches in several areas of theology as eschatology, ecclesiology, liberation theology and Vatican II. Nowadays, he develops research projects in eschatology and liberation theology.

    He has developed researches in subjects like liberation theology, liberating christianity in Colombia, global and civilizing crisis to the light of Franz Hinkelammert´s theological thought.

    Nowadays he belongs to the research group Critical thought and subjtectivity, A1 Minciencias. He has been visiting fellow at the Jesuit Institute, Boston College (Boston, USA), and invited professor at Universidad Rafael Landivar (Guatemala City).
