Personal profile

Laboratory scientist with over 15 years of experience in teaching, biochemical diagnosis, and research on inborn errors of metabolism—particularly aminoacidopathies, organic acidurias, and lysosomal storage disorders. For the past eight years, within the institute for the study of inborn errros of metabolism from universidad javeriana, I have focused on better understanding the biochemical and clinical characteristics of organic acidurias in Colombia. In addition, we perform are interested in continoulsy analyze the biochemical profiles obtained from controlled population studies and diagnostic case samples. Our goal is to deepen knowledge of these disorders and to improve data interpretation for diagnosis, clinical follow-up, and research.
