Juan Manuel Garcia Ospina

Economist with a Master's degree in Economics and a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, with a solid academic and professional trajectory in applied research, consulting, and teaching. His work has focused on science, technology, innovation, education, public policy, and competitiveness, integrating quantitative and econometric analysis with the design of technological and software tools for decision-making. He has led and participated in national and international research and impact projects in collaboration with public, private, and multilateral entities such as the Ministry of National Education, MinTIC, USAID, iNNpulsa, the Colombian Observatory of Science and Technology, Fundación Corona, and the IDB, among others. His research includes the development of innovation and education indices, the evaluation of entrepreneurship programs and development policies, as well as the characterization and diagnosis of educational and productive systems. He has published in indexed journals and technical reports of reference on innovation, education, and innovation financing in Colombia and Latin America. In addition, he serves as a university professor in courses on economics, finance, and data analysis, promoting innovative pedagogical methodologies.
