Professional in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, graduate of Universidad Mariana; Specialist in Project Management and Leadership from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja; Specialist in Geographic Information Systems and Master's in Sustainable Development and Environmental Management from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas; currently pursuing a Doctorate in Environmental and Rural Studies at Universidad Javeriana. Areas of work and research: circular economy, bioeconomy, health and environmental management, territorial governance, and sustainability. With 21 years of overall experience, mainly in environmental consulting, project management, and university teaching; Co-Founder of Fundación Totora. Currently focused on generating knowledge with academic, social, and/or technological impact; specializing in the study of socio-ecological systems, social innovation processes, analysis of sustainability variables and indicators, design and application of differentiated methodologies for small producers, promotion of regenerative green enterprises, and the use of biological materials and resources for local development and the strengthening of value chains.
