    Juliana Gómez Medina has been a faculty member at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 2019 and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Language Studies. Since 2021, she has served as Director of the Master’s Program in Applied Linguistics for Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, offered both on campus and online. Her work focuses on teaching and research in additional language education and second-language teacher training. She has been a visiting professor at universities in Latin America and Europe. Her main academic interests include language education, linguistic and cultural diversity, and the use of media and texts in second-language teaching and learning.
