I am a teacher and researcher specializing in creativity, intelligence, and language in relation to learning processes from a cognitive science perspective. I have researched and co-authored articles and books on the processes that explain and promote creativity and intelligence, as well as the relationship between language and thought, both in educational contexts and other fields. As a member of the Innovum Educatio Research Group in the field of Creativity, Cognition, and Emotion in Educational Systems, my goal is to foster critical thinking and creativity among my students as a fundamental part of their comprehensive education, through meaningful and dialogical teaching methods based on research.

I have extensive experience as an educator and educational administrator, having taught at various levels of schooling (elementary, middle school, undergraduate, and graduate). I have held administrative positions as Dean of the Faculty of Education and Director of the Department of Training at Javeriana University, in addition to having been Academic Coordinator at Gimnasio Moderno. I am committed to transforming education through innovation, training leaders who are prepared for the challenges of the future.
