    Gloria Bernal has been affiliated with Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 2005 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics. In addition, she is the Director of the Education Economics Laboratory and the Ph.D. Program in Economics. Her roles encompass teaching microeconomics and conducting research on the impact of public policies and the economics of education.

    Over her career, she has undertaken extensive research on educational access disparities at the preschool, primary, secondary, and higher education levels. She has significantly contributed to the impact assessment of various educational programs and led the implementation of projects in under-resourced schools across Colombia.
