    Freddy A. Guerrero is an assistant professor at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali, an anthropologist from the National University of Colombia, and holds a Master's degree in Political Studies from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He is a member of the research group "Well-being, Work, Culture, and Society," focusing on the line of Culture, Memories, and Social Coexistence. Additionally he coordinates the Ignacio Martín Baró International Chair at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali.

    He is an author of book chapters and articles in high-impact indexed journals. He is an expert in Human Rights with research and support work with victim populations and vulnerable communities from 2003 to 2010, serving as the National Coordinator for Political Advocacy at the Jesuit Refugee Service.

    His work emphasizes historical memory, conflict, and culture. From 2012 to 2013, he collaborated with the National Center for Historical Memory and coordinated the mobile team of the Directorate of Truth Agreements. He has served as a consultant to the Secretariat of Peace and Human Rights of the Cali Mayor's Office as an advisor in the social appropriation process of the Museum of Memories, Conflict, and Reconciliation. He is a member of the organizing committee of the Peace Week and its pedagogical strategy for 2021.
