    Eduardo Velosa Porras has been affiliated to Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 2007, and currently is Associate Professor to the International Relations Department.

    He lectures at the International Relations B.A., and has taught at the Political Science B.A, and the Master's in International Studies. 

    He is the academic director of the Master´s in International Studies and has been the academic director of the International Relations B.A. 

    His main research and academic interests revolve around three main categories. From an International Relations perspective, he works on foreign policy theories and models, especially on role theory, network analysis applied to international relations. From a geographical standpoint, he is interested in East Asian international relations, with a focus on China, and comparative regionalism (East Asia and Latin America). Lastly, he has worked on Colombian and Latin American foreign policy regarding their interactions with great powers. 

    He has published extensively on these topics in books, book chapters, journal articles and policy papers.   

    He has been peer reviewer for national and international journals, research projects and books.
