I hold a PhD in Philosophy and an MA in History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine from the University of Durham, UK. Specialist in Bioethics from the Universidad El Bosque, Bogotá. Philosopher with Option in Literature from the Universidad de Los Andes, Bogotá and Medical Surgeon from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogotá. My areas of interest and research are bioethics and medical humanities; mental health, society, culture and psychoanalysis; and the history of medical ethics and bioethics.
