    Diego Felipe Valdivieso Rueda is a partner at Scola Abogados and the leader of the Labor Law and Social Security unit. He is a research professor at the Labor Observatory of the Faculty of Law at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where he specializes in Labor Law and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Legal Sciences. He also holds a Master's degree in Law with an emphasis on Labor Law from Universidad de los Andes and is an alumnus of the Executive Development Program at INALDE Business School. He has served as an alternate judge in the Labor Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice and teaches in postgraduate programs at Javeriana, Universidad de La Sabana, Universidad de los Andes, and Universidad del Norte. He is a member of the Labor Lawyers Association. He has been a guest columnist in national media outlets such as La República and Ámbito Jurídico de Legis. He is the co-author of the research "Labor Reform: An Approach from Academia," which was recognized with the Best Academic Research distinction at the Great Justice Summit, Excellence in Justice Awards, in 2023. His research focuses on dignified and decent work. Judicial decisions and regulatory framework proposals are key areas of observation and research interest, analyzed for their coherence with the concept of dignified and decent work.
