    Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Doctor of Philosophy from the Universidad de los Andes and political scientist from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. His research interests focus on modern and contemporary political philosophy. He is the author of the books "Capitalismo, aparatos de Estado y violencias" (2023) and "Política, emancipación y sentido" (2022) and has written several articles studying Marx's thought and contemporary political theory: "The Contradiction between Labour and Capital as Political Antagonism" (Torres de Lucca, 2025), "Jacques Rancière: Aesthetics, Time, Politics" (Journal of Aesthetics and Culture, 2022), and "Étienne Balibar: Political Heteronomy and Violence" (Isegoría, 2023). 

    He is a member of the research group Estado, conlictos y paz and tutor of the Critical Political Theories.
