Personal profile
Carlos Eduardo Román Hernández has been linked to the Pontifical Javeriana University since 1999, and is currently an assistant professor at the Theological Training Center. He carries out teaching tasks in theological training courses that are offered to the different careers of the University, and research in the field of Church Social Thought and the Thought of Bernand Lonergan.
He has developed various investigations on topics related to society and religion. He has been leader of the research groups Social Thought of the Church, Cosmopolis, Critical Thinking and Subjectivity, and Yfantais. Likewise, he has served as a visiting professor at the José Simeón Cañas Central American University.
The professor's main research interests include theology, the Bible, research on the Historical Jesus. He is also interested in the relationships between economics and theology.
The professor has published over the years a considerable number of articles in highly reputable peer-reviewed journals
