Doctor en Ingeniería de la Universidad de Bonn con maestría en Hidrología en la Universidad de Arizona. Se interesa por definir acciones prioritarias para atender necesidades y mitigar riesgos relacionados con el agua en zonas rurales y urbanas, como el acceso a agua potable y la reducción de inundaciones menores en los barrios. Con dichas priorizaciones se espera reducir los costos de funcionamiento de las empresas de servicios públicos y los institutos gubernamentales, y hacerlas mucho más eficientes en su incesante tarea de brindar bienestar a las comunidades.
