Personal profile
Juan Carlos Carreño Rojas, an orthodontist from the Pontifical Xaverian University (PUJ), has been a clinical instructor in the Postgraduate Orthodontics Program at the Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Craniofacial System, since 2017.
He has conducted various research projects on cephalometric diagnosis, dentofacial anomalies, and natural head position. He has served as coordinator of the Orthodontics Service at the National Police Central Hospital, taught Interdisciplinary Clinic courses in the Postgraduate Orthodontics Program at the Colombian University College, and coordinated the Interdisciplinary Seminar on Dentofacial Anomalies (DFA) at the Pontifical Javeriana University. He also directed the ADF seminar at the UniCIEO University Foundation.
Currently, he is part of the DFA team in the Postgraduate Orthodontics Program at the Cooperative University of Colombia, Bogotá campus. He has served as a director and evaluator of postgraduate theses and as a national and international speaker.
In the professional sphere, he was President of the Colombian Society of Orthodontics (SCO) and academic secretary of the same entity.
