    Carolina Cruz Velásquez has been affiliated with Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 2014 and is currently an Instructor Professor in the Department of Habitat. She teaches in the Architecture Program and the Master’s Program in Sustainable Habitat, and conducts research on topics related to historical inquiry, sustainability, architecture and the environment, and the phenomenology of space.

    She has carried out various research projects on the history of architecture, the relationship between space and eroticism, the modern movement, and architecture adapted to place. She has served as Director of the Master’s Program in Sustainable Habitat, Director of the Architecture Program, and as a board member of ACFA. Additionally, she has worked as a bioclimatic and sustainability consultant, undergraduate and graduate thesis juror, visiting professor in various academic settings, and member of editorial boards.

    Throughout her academic career, Professor Cruz Velásquez has participated in numerous conferences, presentations, and architecture congresses, publishing the results of her research in these academic forums.
