Personal profile
I have been an assistant professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (PUJ) since February 2023. I am professor in the Data Science, Master of Mathematics and Mathematics programs. Also, I was a Postdoc at the Department of Statistics of National University of Colombia (UNAL). My main areas of interest include, semi-parametric regression models, design and analysis of probabilistic sampling, survival analysis, high-dimensional statistical learning. Before join to PUJ I finished my Ph.D in Statistics at Universidade de S\~ao Paulo, Brazil, where I mostly focused on semi-parametric regression models, survival analysis, and computational statistics.
