Personal profile

Chemist with a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences from the University of Antioquia (Colombia) and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Groningen (Netherlands). My research experience focuses on developing nanostructured materials for the detection, transport, and controlled release of molecules of interest in health and natural sciences. I possess extensive knowledge and experience in developing and validating analytical methods, as well as in cell encapsulation for therapeutic treatments. I excel in multidisciplinary research encompassing organic synthesis, experimental design, material characterization, good laboratory practices, various analytical and instrumental techniques, and in vitro studies.
