Overview
Personal profile
I am a researcher, lecturer, and developer in the field of digital humanities and videogame studies. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Communication, Languages, and Information at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where my research focuses on how game mechanics construct cultural representations, integrating perspectives from cultural studies, representation theory, and actor-network theory. I hold a Master's degree in Digital Humanities from Universidad de los Andes, with a thesis dedicated to the analysis of representations of Colombia in videogames. I am an expert in the design, production, and development of digital projects with more than 20 years of experience. I have led initiatives for diverse organizations, coordinating interdisciplinary teams and developing digital platforms for major public and private media companies in Colombia. My work combines concrete results with a deep understanding of user needs, creating technological solutions aligned with the strategic goals of organizations. I also have extensive experience with agile methodologies and hold SCRUM certification. My projects and career unfold at the intersection of digital media, videogames, and contemporary culture, exploring how technology not only transforms creation and communication but also the cultural representations that shape our society.
