Personal profile

Since 2009, I have served as a University Professor, dedicating my career to multidimensional signal processing and artificial intelligence. My areas of specialization include computer vision, stereo and multiview stereo systems, robotics, and traffic variable estimation. At Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, my research focuses on depth estimation, computational photography, and image processing, underpinned by my extensive expertise in digital signal processing, particularly with multidimensional signals such as images and videos. I have designed embedded systems for signal processing, classification, and control, including complex systems that require meticulous hardware optimization. My contributions to the field of artificial intelligence and computer vision are reflected in a wide range of practical applications, from enhancing traffic systems to advancements in precision agriculture and robotics.
