Cristian Felipe Guaitero Orostegui

My name is Cristian Felipe Guaitero Orostegui. I am a nurse with a master's degree in clinical pharmacology and training and experience in adult care in highly complex hospital settings.

My academic and research career is focused on the study of clinical pharmacology applied to nursing, with an emphasis on medication safety, medication error prevention, drug calculation and dilution, intravenous therapies, and evidence-based therapeutic optimization. I have developed training processes in nursing programs in areas such as pharmacology, adult care, clinical simulation, and patient safety.

My academic interest focuses on strengthening the position of nursing in clinical, therapeutic, and ethical decision-making, articulating teaching, research, and healthcare practice.
