My research focuses on teaching and learning processes using technology, based on pedagogical reflection on the incorporation of technology in the classroom. I have researched active learning proposals and their effect on learning when physical technologies such as educational robotics are included, as well as the relationship between programming languages and digital narratives. I have also studied the importance of video games in educational contexts and their potential to develop skills, competencies, and abilities in children and young people that will serve them well in their academic performance.
My expertise covers the virtualization of academic programs and courses, based on a pedagogical model that focuses on accompanying students in the virtual environment and on the topic of rhetoric on the Internet. I belong to the Innovum educatio research group, which focuses on innovation in education through the use of technology, and I am a founding member of the University Network for Education with Technology (REDUNETE).
