    Liany Katerine Ariza Ruiz is an Assistant Professor and researcher at the Institute of Public Health of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, Colombia. She is an anthropologist with a master's degree in interdisciplinary social research. She is currently a PhD candidate in Social and Human Sciences.

     

    She has extensive research and teaching experience from a social perspective in the field of Public Health and in qualitative, mixed and participatory research in areas such as intercultural health, maternal health, sexual and reproductive rights, health care models; injuries caused by traffic incidents.

     

    He currently leads the Territorial Health Observatory project for the Pan-Amazon region in alliance with the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. He has peer-reviewed international and national publications in recognized journals in the field of health and social sciences. It belongs to the Health Politics and Economics group – classified by Colciencias as A1.
