    Ariel Svarch earned his PhD in History at Emory University (Atlanta, GA) in 2016. He specializes in modern Latin American history and cultural history. He has investigative experience in several areas: the modernizing projects in Latin America, transoceanic immigration to Latin America during the era of mass migration, and the experience of migrant ethnic minorities of life in Latin America in the early 20th century.
