    Bacteriologist with a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences, a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, and an International Ph.D. in Health and Development in the Tropics from the University of Salamanca, Spain. She has 16 years of experience in molecular parasitology and microbiology, focusing on designing new molecules with antibacterial potential and vaccines against Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium falciparum. She is an expert in producing recombinant proteins in both cellular and acellular systems, as well as techniques for purification and validation of their functionality in receptor-ligand interaction assays.
