Personal profile

She holds a degree in Philosophy, a Master's in Political Studies, a Master's in Philosophy, a PhD in Environmental and Rural Studies, and is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Science in the Faculty of Communication and Language at the Pontifical Javeriana University. She is a member of the A1 Research Group on Information Science, Society, and Culture. She leads the CISC-Infocrear Research Seedbed and coordinates graduation projects in the Information Science program, Library Science, and Archival Science. Her research is focused on Information Transparency, addressing opacity in the context of the enforceability of the Right to Access and Transparency, primarily with communities in diverse territories, applying methodologies such as Participatory Action Research in co-creation processes. She has supported peace dialogue processes with armed groups through a diploma course at the Bellavista Penitentiary Center in Medellín, in an interdisciplinary and inter-institutional approach.
