    Overview

    Personal profile

PhD in Psychology and master’s in social policy. I am researcher at the Health Policy and Economics Group of the Institute of Public Health, PUJ. My research interests include gender-based violence and violence in the context of the Colombian armed conflict; citizenship culture and corruption, men's health and sexual-affective relationships. I have analyzed the ethical implications of the use of mobile technologies in identifying risk factors associated with non-communicable diseases and the diagnosis of Gender-Based Violence. I am a professor of qualitative, feminist, and critical research methods in the master’s Program in Public Health and the Doctorate in Social Sciences. My doctoral research proposes an analytical transition from the psychologization to the politicization of love. I discuss the effects of the psychobiological perspective of love on subjectivities and conceive of love as a government device that participates in the structuring of the contemporary social order.
