Personal profile
Angela Vergara has been a professor at the Institute of Human Genetics at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 2022. She engages in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels within programs offered by the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Sciences, including the fields of Medicine, Bacteriology, Specialization in Medical Genetics, Specialization in Pathology, Master’s in Biological Sciences, and Master’s in Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Her research focuses on cytogenomics and toxicological genetics, and she has contributed to the development of recombinant proteins and therapeutic alternatives in cellular responses to cancer.
