Full professor and director of the Instituto Javeriano del Agua (Water Institute at Pontifical Javeriana University - PUJ). Holds a degree in Civil Engineering from PUJ; an MSc in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Urban Hydrology from the University of Lyon, INSA-Lyon, France. Currently, a professor in the Faculty of Engineering at PUJ, a member of the Water and Environment Science and Engineering research group (A1 MinCiencias), and affiliated with various programs at PUJ. Recognized by MinCiencias as a Senior Researcher, specializing in water quality metrology, multi-criteria decision-making, sustainable urban drainage systems, rainwater harvesting, urban runoff sediment management, and sewer asset management.
