Personal profile
He is a PhD candidate in Philosophy at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá). Selected on the basis of academic merit and professional achievement to receive financial support for his studies, he pursues his doctoral training while also serving as a teaching and research assistant at the same university and as an associate lecturer in graduate programs in the Faculty of Education and Humanities at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada (Bogotá/Cajicá, Colombia). He has more than twenty years of experience in teaching, research, critical public engagement, and pedagogical innovation in secondary and higher education. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Universidad La Gran Colombia (thesis awarded highest honors) and an M.A. in Philosophy from Universidad del Rosario (thesis awarded distinction). His research is situated at the intersection of poststructuralism and deconstruction, phenomenology, environmental philosophy, animal studies, ecofeminism, aesthetics, anarchist thought, and critical theory. He is the founder of Musofía, a digital platform with more than 40,000 followers dedicated to bringing philosophy into dialogue with contemporary culture. He is also a professional musician in the Colombian band Albatroz, with which he has produced seven recordings and toured nationally and internationally.
