Overview

Personal profile

My research interests focus on the anthropology of childhood, particularly examining the relationship between childhood, education, and sociopolitical changes. I have worked on developing collaborative research methodologies with children, as well as studying children's subjectivities and the impact of political and social violence on childhood and educational contexts.

During my postdoctoral fellowship as a Fulbright Scholar, I researched children's educational experiences during the pandemic. I am currently involved in research projects on intersectional perspectives on childhood and on the construction of social memory with children in rural educational contexts.

My methodological expertise encompasses qualitative methods such as ethnography, oral histories, narrative analysis, and collaborative research methods. I am a member of the Childhood, Culture, and Education research group and a founding member of the International Network for Ethnography with Children in Educational Contexts (RIENN).
