    Adriana Alejandra Hoyos Camacho has been linked to the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 1999 and is currently an assistant professor at the Center for Theological Formation of the Faculty of Theology. She develops Theological Teaching tasks in the different careers of the university and research in the fields of Theology of Human Action, Christian Spirituality, Feminist Biblical Hermeneutics, and Theology and Intercultural Dialogue. 
    She has developed diverse research on topics related to: Feminist Biblical Interpretation and Contextual Reading of the Bible in approach to stories of women in situations of violence, injustice and inequality. Also, with topics related to: spirituality, faith, peace and reconciliation. 
    Her main research interests include the generation and development of strategies for personal and community transformation with respect to problems related to violence, social injustice, gender inequality and the lack of recognition of human rights. 
    Over the years, she has published several original articles in national and international journals.
