Ph.D. in Management from the University of the Andes, with a strong interdisciplinary background that integrates master’s degrees in Management Research, Education, and Engineering. Industrial Engineer with a strategic and comprehensive perspective on university management, effectively bridging academic, administrative, and financial functions.

I have over 10 years of experience in administrative, academic, and financial leadership roles in higher education institutions, across both the public and private sectors. Within the university setting, I have served as Administrative and Financial Director, Academic Director, and Accreditation Coordinator, leading teams and designing and implementing processes for planning, execution, and budget monitoring, as well as quality assurance systems and national and international accreditation initiatives. I have also supported key processes such as admissions, student records, and graduation, and have coordinated the planning and execution of high-impact academic and institutional events.

In the public sector, I have worked as a professor and as Head of an Advisory Office, the latter at the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), where I strengthened my competencies in strategic formulation, budget management, institutional planning, and human talent management. This experience provided me with a deep understanding of resource management within the framework of public regulations, complementing my experience in higher education.

My academic and professional interests focus on the study and strengthening of educational organizations, with particular emphasis on governance, innovation in university management, higher education, and applied research.
