Personal profile
I am a physician specializing in psychiatry and hold a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology, with experience in university teaching and research since 2002. I have also coordinated, carried out, or participated in research projects of national significance. Currently, my work focuses on university teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In research, my current focus is on teaching protocol development, research methodology, study design, data analysis, and reporting of results. This is achieved through mentoring and collaboration with master’s students in clinical epidemiology and medical-surgical specialties in pediatrics, otolaryngology, and psychiatry. I have participated in the development of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and can support their implementation. Additionally, I have clinical experience at various healthcare institutions in Bogotá.
