Anderson Fabián Santos Meza is a doctoral candidate in Theology at the Xavierian Pontifical University. He earned his degree in Philosophy at the same institution, where he also pursued studies in Theology. He has undertaken complementary independent studies in Christology, Religion, and Gender Studies. He has served as a junior researcher at the Sophia Institute in Saint Louis, MO, USA, contributing to the research core "Intercultural, Interdisciplinary, and Interreligious Group on Decoloniality, Migration, and Sexuality" (GIDMS). As further evidence of his commitment in this field, he is Associate Editor of Conexión Queer: Revista Latinoamericana y Caribeña de Teologías Queer. He is also a member of the CLACSO Working Group "Religions and Society: Tensions, Diversities, and Mobilizations in Debate", as well as an active participant in the DARE (Discernment and Radical Engagement) young researchers' network of the Council for World Mission. He is the author of Quid autem ista loquor? El sentido económico de la confessio en las Confessiones de San Agustín (Saint Louis, MO: Institute Sophia Press, 2024). In addition, he has published several research articles and book chapters in indexed and peer-reviewed journals. In 2020, he was awarded in the Latin American Essay Contest on Faith and Human Rights. In 2022, he received the runner-up prize at the Third International Award on Mysticism and Interreligious Dialogue, granted by the University of Mysticism (Ávila, Spain).
