The research group is interested in the discursive, semiotic and performative analysis of different phenomena that are framed in language or languages. In this regard, it gathers some post-structuralist views to understand the ideological nature of these phenomena and to make explicit what kind of subjectivities or subjectivations resist these expressions of power. Among the analyses carried out is the understanding of the gender constructions evident in the cinema, the recognition of the ideological and political positions of the national digital press in the face of the attack and assassination of social leaders, as well as the performative reconstruction of events narrated through official history, such as the capture of Mitú in 1998.
