SIEGH is an academic space aimed at students interested in generating knowledge in genetics, human genomics, and health sciences education. It develops basic research with clinical applications, educational research, scientific dissemination, and pedagogical proposals with an impact on different educational contexts. It promotes a critical understanding of genetic factors in health and disease processes, including pathologies such as rare diseases, cancer, and cardiomyopathies. From an interdisciplinary, ethical, and humanistic approach, it articulates science, education, and community, contributing to the strengthening of health capacities with regional, national, and international reach.
