The Global Health and Preventive and Social Medicine hotbed (GlobalPrev) is a space for the generation of research processes that contribute to the training of undergraduate and graduate students at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.The aim is to generate processes of identifying themes across the entire spectrum of the health-disease process (from health promotion to disease rehabilitation) in areas in which knowledge gaps or conceptual disagreements with a global perspective are evident.Likewise, it encourages the participation of seedbed members in conducting research that has special emphasis on the areas of health promotion and disease prevention with a global perspective.We have developed investigative processes that have allowed us to contribute to the creation of knowledge that is shared both with the scientific community and with the general population.
