The JaVEX Robotics Research Hotbed is a group dedicated to promoting and facilitating the development of various types of robots, allowing students to apply the knowledge acquired during their university studies.This hotbed has as its main focus participation in robotics tournaments at the local, national and international level, strengthening teamwork and the exchange of experiences between colleagues.Competitive robotics is crucial in academic settings because it offers students a platform to apply theories and concepts learned in the classroom in practical and challenging situations.Additionally, it encourages innovation, critical thinking, and real-time problem solving.Participating in competitions provides students with the opportunity to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, improving their communication and leadership skills, essential for their professional development.Exposure at competitive events also raises the prestige of the university, showcasing its ability to develop highly competent and creative engineers.
