Organization profile

Systematic literature reviews (SLRs) are essential for evidence-based clinical decision making, providing an objective analysis according to the research question. These reviews are part of the family of evidence synthesis, which summarize previous studies, minimizing biases and errors, and allowing a qualitative analysis or meta-analysis.The Cochrane Library is one of the sources of RSL in health, managed by the Cochrane Collaboration, an international network of experts, as well as JBI and the Campbell organization. The seedbed proposed by the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics provides a space for training experiences to undergraduate and graduate students in the preparation of evidence synthesis, promoting clinical research and evidence-based clinical practice. The program includes mentoring, participation in networks such as Students for Best Evidence (S4BE), and collaboration in scientific publications, complying with the commitment of the methodological guidelines proposed by the main organizations.
