Organization profile

This hotbed seeks to develop research strengths at the intersection of the performing arts with cultural studies and pedagogy, around an approach to traditional Colombian and Latin American literature, knowledge and artistic practices, addressing the social role of the actor and the performing arts, which allow and question dialogue and exchange with teachers and traditional communities, as well as a study of the theatricalities present in festivals, rituals, carnivals, games and popular traditions.
