Organization profile

The IEEE-RAS research group aims to encourage undergraduate and graduate students to engage in research in robotics and artificial intelligence, promoting the development of innovative projects that integrate these technologies. It provides a multidisciplinary space for students from Electronic, Mechatronic, Systems Engineering, and the community of the university, to explore and learn about robotics and AI. It uses industrial tools such as programming in Python, C++, ROS, and AI models, with commercial robots from the Faculty. Students develop semester projects in mobile and industrial robotics, and AI, complementing their education and preparing them for professional life. The objectives include fostering research, promoting extracurricular academic activities, participating in scientific events and competitions, and generating a sense of belonging and collaboration among members, aligning with the University's educational project and academic programs.
