The seedbed wishes to promote the interest of the scientific community to work and prepare our future doctors in a structured way from the undergraduate level, regarding kidney pathology, with an academic model focused on primary health care, and promote strategies that reduce the risk of progression to advanced stages and complications of kidney disease.It is essential to promote critical thinking in medical students and residents and develop research projects that allow the formulation of public prevention policies on kidney diseases and early detection.The nephrology hotbed can contribute to providing studies that allow us to characterize the population, understand our local and national situation and detect opportunities for improvement in the field of nephrology in Colombia.
