The Wildlife Management and Conservation Seedbed arose as an initiative of biology students to study, analyze and propose new ideas about the great current problems that are developing in the country at the level of biodiversity and its relationship with society. The group is developed in conjunction with the Laboratory for the Management and Conservation of Tropical Ecosystems of the Ecology and Systematics Unit (UNESIS), of the Department of Biology of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Currently the group is composed of biology and ecology students.
