Using the analysis tools of anthropology and other related disciplines, the seedbed seeks to contribute to the understanding of the different logics that today configure the field of "the cultural" in our country.We are interested in interrogating the role of the State, institutions and experts in the production of cultural policy approaches.The articulations and tensions derived from the implementation of plans, policies, projects and tools that use art, culture and heritage.And, thirdly, investigate the specific practices around "the cultural" that different groups, collectives, associations and people implement in specific territorial and population contexts.Configured as a space for reflection, intervention, research and training, the hotbed brings together students, graduates, teachers, managers and public officials interested in collectively reflecting on the recent transformations in the field of cultural management and public cultural policies in our country.During the year 2023, our main topic of reflection will be the concept of "peasant heritage" and its possibilities and limitations in the territorial context of the Bogotá region and the town of Sumapaz.
