It seeks to deepen the knowledge of ophthalmological diseases with the aim of generating research projects in order to expand knowledge of the most prevalent pathologies in the country and those with a high impact on visual and ocular health.
Research fields
General ophthalmology: determine the behavior of some of the most prevalent pathologies in visual health in Colombia;Visual acuity: characterize the epidemiology of different refractive errors and other conditions that lead to a compromise in visual acuity;Subspecialties: compile research activity in ophthalmology that contributes to knowledge and impacts the diagnosis and treatment of various pathologies prevalent in the region.
